Bajaj Housing Finance Q1 Results
Bajaj Housing Finance on Wednesday reported a net profit of Rs 715 crore for the first quarter of FY27, a 23% year-on-year rise from the Rs 583 crore net profit reported in the corresponding quarter of FY27, with net interest income rising 9% YoY to Rs 968 crore.

The company’s assets under management (AUM) rose 24% YoY to nearly Rs 1.5 lakh crore during the quarter from Rs 1.2 lakh crore in the year-ago period. Its net worth increased 13% YoY to Rs 23,234 crore.

Bajaj Housing Finance’s annualised return on assets (RoA) remained flat at 2.3%, while return on equity (RoE) rose to 12.5% in Q1 FY27 from 11.6% in Q1 FY26. Its loan assets rose 24% YoY to Rs 1.3 lakh crore during the quarter under review.


Asset quality nearly remained unchanged, with the company’s net non performing assets (NPA) and gross NPA ratio falling slightly to 0.29% and 0.12% in Q1 FY27 from 0.3% and 0.13% in the same period last year, respectively. Capital adequacy ratio (including Tier-II capital) as of June 30, 2026 stood at 21.59%.

Segment-wise, Bajaj Housing Finance’s home loan segment saw a 20% YoY growth in AUM to Rs 80,865 crore, while lease rental discounting business saw the strongest AUM growth at 41% YoY to Rs 34,604 crore during the quarter under review. The company’s overall disbursements grew 33% YoY to Rs 19,509 crore, while loans assets rose 24% YoY to Rs 1.3 lakh crore.

Bajaj Housing Finance announced its Q1 earnings in the post-market hours of Wednesday. Earlier during the day, the shares of the company gained over 2% to close at around Rs 88 apiece on NSE.

The stock has gained around 3% in a week and over 1% in one month. It has however fallen nearly 9% in 2026 so far and 24% in one year. The company currently has a market capitalisation of nearly Rs 73,232 crore.
