Mumbai: The Indian rupee ended nearly unchanged on Tuesday as multiple factors, such as importer hedging demand, FPI inflows and caution ahead of the monetary policy, kept the currency in a narrow band.

The rupee closed at 95.37, compared with its previous close of 95.33. It traded in a range of 95.40 and 95.25, with a mildly positive bias. Brent crude prices were trading around $80-83 per barrel during the day.
