Meghan Markle has always been an open book when it comes to sharing candid anecdotes about her personal life. The Duchess of Sussex, who married Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, has often offered glimpses into her experiences, thoughts and everyday life, giving followers a more personal perspective beyond her public persona. Recently, the 45-year-old has once again worn her heart on her sleeve, opening up about motherhood and how it motivates her to navigate life with hope, courage and confidence.

Meghan Markle’s special person who inspires her to be brave

On August 7, Meghan Markle appeared for an interview with InStyle magazine, along with filmmaker Alysa Nahmias, for a Q&A session in honor of her and Prince Harry’s production company, Archewell Productions’ first-ever documentary, Cookie Queens. In the session, Meghan answered a bunch of adorable questions from kids.

One question asked by a 4-year-old girl, Poppy, was, ‘What makes you feel brave?’. In response, Meghan Markle said that it was her 5-year-old daughter Princess Lilibet, who inspires her to be brave. Meghan explained that whenever she feels uncertain about whether she can take on something, she thinks about how Lilibet would approach it, which encourages her to move forward with greater courage.

Meghan Markle’s superpower and all about Cookie Queens

Meanwhile, when 3-year-old Tyler wanted to know Meghan Markle’s superpower, the Duchess of Sussex’s quick reply was, ‘being a mom’. The Suits actress, however, added that she believes all mothers have their own superpowers, as they manage multiple responsibilities while embracing them with grace and grit. For the unversed, Meghan and Prince Harry welcomed their daughter Lilibet on June 4, 2021. The couple’s son, Archie, was born on May 6, 2019.

Cookie Queens, directed by Nahmias, revolves around a group of 4 young Girl Scouts. They navigate through the cookie season, handling an $800 million business, learning confidence, resilience and leadership, all while dealing with the pressures of growing up. On July 29, Meghan attended a special screening of the documentary film in Ojai, California, at an actual Girl Scout camp. Cookie Queen premiered in the theatres on August 7.
