Forgetfulness can happen to anyone. You walk into a room with a purpose, only to find yourself wondering why you are there. While occasional memory lapses are normal, frequent episodes can leave you feeling mentally drained, distracted and less productive. Everyday factors such as poor sleep, stress, dehydration and nutrient deficiencies can all contribute to mental fatigue and reduced focus. The good news is that simple lifestyle and dietary changes may help support better brain function. Top Delhi nutritionist Lovneet Batra has now shared an easy-to-make, healthy brain-sharpening elixir on Instagram, prepared with natural ingredients that may help tackle brain fog and support sharper focus.

Why your brain forgets

As per Lovneet Batra, brain fog happens primarily due to 3 reasons:

Sluggish circulation: It deprives brain cells of steady oxygen and glucose

Neurotransmitter burnout: Stress drains acetylcholine, which is your memory chemical

Cellular inflammation: Poor sleep combined with sugar results in slow processing speed of your brain.

How To Prepare

To prepare the drink, first boil 1.5 cups of water with fresh sliced ginger to open up blood vessels. Next, turn off the heat and add Brahmi, Ashwagandha, and Rosemary powder. After that, you have to cover immediately and steep for 5 minutes to trap essential oils. In the final step, strain the liquid and sip warm. As per Lovneet Batra, you can also add more brain-boosting foods like:

Soaked Walnuts and Almonds: They are packed with Vitamin E and help in protecting the brain cells.

Pumpkin Seeds: Rich in zinc and magnesium, pumpkin seeds are essential for fast nerve signaling.

Best Time To Drink

Morning Boost: Drink on an empty stomach to kickstart focus, speed, and mental stamina

4 pm Reset: Drink during the afternoon slump to clear digital fatigue and refresh memory

On a final note, Lovneet Batra shared a cautionary advice: Skip this specific tonic if you are pregnant, nursing, have hyperthyroidism, or take heavy sedatives.
