From a larger-than-life gangster story featuring Yash to a supernatural mystery involving a dark force, this week’s OTT releases cover different genres and languages. There are also stories about love, family, sports and courtroom battles, giving viewers plenty to choose from as the week moves ahead. Here are the movies arriving on OTT platforms this week.

Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups — ZEE5

Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups is set to make its digital debut on ZEE5 on September 25, as reported by Times Now. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the Kannada gangster drama is set in post-independence Goa and follows Raya, a man who builds his place in the criminal underworld through violence, ambition and betrayal. Yash plays a dual role as Raya and his son Rumi, with the story also exploring their complicated relationship. The film features Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth in key roles. The OTT release gives audiences another opportunity to watch the action drama after its theatrical run.


Mango Pachcha — JioHotstar

Kannada action drama Mango Pachcha will start streaming on JioHotstar on September 25. Directed by Viveka, the film stars Sanchith Sanjeev, Kaajal Kunder, Mayur Patel, Prashanth Hiremath, Ugramm Manju, Hamsa Narayanaswamy and Harini Shreekanth. The story follows Prashanth, also known as Pachcha, who runs a CD shop in Mysuru and leads a relatively quiet life. Everything changes following his father’s death, when he discovers that his family has been hiding major secrets. Pachcha learns about a half-brother named Nagappa and is pulled into a world he never knew existed.



Agadha — ZEE5

For viewers looking for something darker, Telugu supernatural mystery thriller Agadha arrives on ZEE5 on September 25. Directed by MS Raju, the film stars Kamakshi Bhaskarla, Shravan Reddy, Ulka Gupta, Jovika Vijayakumar, Shreya Rani Reddy, Roshan Basheer and Bhanu Chander. The story follows Mahadevi, a spiritually gifted exorcist who returns to her ancestral home after the mysterious death of her cousin and a series of disturbing incidents. Her search for answers leads her towards a forbidden forest cave, a mysterious twelve-handed idol and a secretive cult. The investigation eventually reveals a dark supernatural force called Agadha.

Angikaaram — Sun NXT

Tamil sports-courtroom drama Angikaaram will stream on Sun NXT from September 25. Written and directed by Thenpathiyan, the film stars Kotapadi J. Rajesh, Sindhoori Vishwanath, Mansoor Ali Khan, Viji Venkatesh, Vasundhara Kashyap and Rangaraj Pandey. The story centres on Aathiran, a talented runner from a Chennai slum who gets an opportunity to represent India at the Commonwealth Games. However, his path to the competition is blocked when a politically influenced sports association prevents him from taking part. Instead of giving up, Aathiran decides to fight for his opportunity through the legal system.



Habeebi — Sony LIV

Tamil romantic drama Habeebi is another September 25 release, arriving on Sony LIV. Directed by Meera Kathiravan and written by VS Mohamed Ameen, the film stars Esha M, Malavika Manoj, Kasthuri Raja and Dhanashree Sudhakaran. The story follows a young couple whose relationship creates tension within a Muslim community in southern Tamil Nadu. Alongside the central romance, the film explores family relationships, traditions and the changing lives of people within the community.
