Spider-Man: Brand New Day
Marvel fans finally have a new Spider-Man adventure to watch on the big screen. Spider-Man: Brand New Day has arrived in theatres, bringing Tom Holland back as Peter Parker alongside Zendaya. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the latest film continues Peter's journey after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home and shifts the focus back to a more grounded story.

Now that the movie has been released in cinemas, many fans are already wondering when they will be able to stream it at home. While Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures have not made any official announcement yet, reports have hinted at the movie's possible OTT plans.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day OTT release: What we know so far

The makers have not confirmed an official OTT release date for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. There has also been no formal announcement about its streaming platform.

However, several media reports claim that Netflix has secured the digital streaming rights for the movie after its theatrical run. If that release pattern holds, the film is expected to begin streaming sometime in late September or October 2026. These dates remain speculative until an official confirmation is made by the studio or the platform.

Story continues after No Way Home

The new film picks up four years after the ending of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Doctor Strange's spell erased Peter Parker's identity from everyone's memory, leaving him completely alone.

Peter chooses not to reconnect with MJ or his best friend Ned because he believes keeping them away from his life as Spider-Man is the safest decision. As he continues protecting New York, he faces fresh enemies, unexpected allies and new challenges while trying to move forward with his life.

Unlike the multiverse-heavy storyline of the previous film, Brand New Day takes Peter back to a more personal, street-level journey before the events of Avengers: Doomsday.

Cast and crew

Tom Holland returns as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, while Zendaya reprises her role as MJ. Jacob Batalon is back as Ned Leeds.

The film also features Mark Ruffalo, Jon Bernthal, Sadie Sink, Liza Colón-Zayas, Tramell Tillman, Marisa Tomei, Naomi Watts, Michael Mando, Keith David, Marvin Jones III, Olivia Booth-Ford, Eman Esfandi, Leah Phillips, Billy Clements and Zabryna Guevara.

The movie is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. It is produced by Kevin Feige, Amy Pascal, Avi Arad and Rachel O'Connor for Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures. Michael Giacchino has composed the music.

Strong opening in India

The latest Spider-Man film has opened well at the Indian box office. According to early trade estimates cited by multiple media reports, Spider-Man: Brand New Day earned an estimated net collection of Rs 11.88 crore and a gross collection of Rs 14.02 crore by midday on its opening day.

The film released in Indian theatres on July 30, 2026, a day ahead of its US release. While audiences can currently watch it only in cinemas, those waiting for its digital debut will have to wait a little longer, as Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures are yet to officially reveal the movie's OTT release schedule or streaming platform.
