After months of anticipation, the makers of Ramayana finally released the film's much-awaited trailer on Thursday morning (July 30). Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the epic adaptation gives a grand first look at the world of Lord Ram and Ravana, packed with stunning visuals, emotional moments and large-scale action. While the teaser introduced audiences to Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, the latest trailer shifts the spotlight to Yash's Ravana, whose commanding presence has already become the biggest talking point among fans.

The nearly four-minute trailer takes viewers through some of the most iconic moments from Valmiki's epic, from Sita's swayamvar and Lord Ram's exile to Ravana's rise and the war that follows. Along with introducing several major characters, it also gives a glimpse of the film's ambitious visual scale, making it one of the most discussed trailers of the year.

The trailer begins with Ravana, played by Yash, making a dramatic entry. His face remains hidden initially, adding an air of mystery before revealing the powerful demon king. One noticeable absence from the trailer is Sunny Deol, who plays Hanuman in the film. Despite being one of the most anticipated characters, Hanuman does not appear even briefly.

Backed by Namit Malhotra's Prime Focus Studios in association with DNEG and Yash's Monster Mind Creations, Ramayana is one of the most ambitious Indian films ever made. The music has been composed by Oscar winners Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman, while Mad Max action director Guy Norris has designed the film's action sequences.
