Aristotle's life and early years

Aristotle's contribution to science
Aristotle also made important contributions to the natural sciences. His studies included marine animals, birds, insects and mammals. He described the development of chick embryos, recognised that whales and dolphins differed from fish and recorded detailed observations of octopuses and other sea creatures.Although some of his scientific conclusions were later corrected, his method of combining observation with logical reasoning influenced scientific thinking for centuries.
