Oh Sukumari OTT release date confirmed: When and where to watch Thiruveer-Aishwarya Rajesh's Telugu romantic comedy

After a short run in theatres, Oh Sukumari is now getting ready for its digital release. The Telugu romantic comedy, starring Thiruveer and Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead, did not make a big impact at the box office after releasing on July 17, 2026. Directed and written by Bharat Dharshan, Oh Sukumari mixes romance, comedy and family drama. The film has been produced by Maheshwara Reddy Mooli under the Gangaa Entertainments banner.

Oh Sukumari OTT release date and platform

The OTT release of Oh Sukumari has now been officially confirmed. The film will start streaming on Prime Video from August 7, 2026.

The movie will be available not only in its original Telugu version but also in Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, allowing it to reach viewers across multiple language markets.


Prime Video India announced the premiere through its official social media handles. While sharing the update, the platform teased the release with the line, "This one's going to be a shocker," before confirming the August 7 streaming date.

With the digital release arriving just a few weeks after its theatrical debut, those who missed watching the film in cinemas will soon be able to stream it from home.

What is Oh Sukumari about?

The story follows Yadagiri, played by Thiruveer, an aspiring politician who falls in love with Damini, also known as Sukumari, played by Aishwarya Rajesh.

Damini has an unusual condition. Whenever someone touches her, she immediately goes into shock. Because of this, the people in her village want to get her married as quickly as possible. The film then explores how Yadagiri's life changes after marrying her, what actually caused Damini's condition, and the challenges and unexpected twists the couple face in their married life.

Although the film failed to perform well in theatres, the makers appear optimistic that it will receive a warmer response from OTT audiences, where several films have managed to attract viewers after their theatrical runs.

Cast and crew

Besides Thiruveer and Aishwarya Rajesh, the film features Srinivas Gavireddy, Muralidhar Goud, Jhansi, Aamani, Kranthi Balivada, Kota Jayaram and Anji Mama in important roles.

Bharath Manchiraju composed the music and Thirumala M. Thirupathi served as the production designer. The choreography was done by JD Master, costumes were designed by Anureddy Akkati, and the action scenes were handled by Wing Chun Anji.
