Nani’s grandfather once struggled with memory issues: The Paradise actor reveals what changed after moving closer to nature

The Paradise actor, Nani, has a luxurious farmhouse in Chevella, Telangana which is much more than a countryside retreat for him and his family. In a chat show, the actor had revealed how the property has transformed his 101-year-old grandfather’s life and routine while also becoming a place for his family where they cultivate their own vegetables, rear cattle and spend their time together. From his son Arjun naming the cows to its earthy interiors, the farmhouse is a reflection of Nani’s love for a slow-paced and tranquil life.

At The Rana Daggubati Show, Nani opened up about the reason behind buying the farmhouse in Chevella, which is 40 km away from Hyderabad. The actor shared that he bought the land when his father was 96 years old. He added that having grown up around nature, his grandfather struggled with ailments while living in the city. The actor wanted to re-create a familiar environment for him and his grandfather and give him the energy and atmosphere of being around trees and nature.

How the farmhouse helped his 101-year-old grandfather

According to Nani, his grandfather began experiencing memory issues while living in the city. However, life at the farmhouse brought a significant change to his routine. He shared that he now goes for walks and exercises, and that he can recognise his movies and remember names something he struggled with earlier. He summed up the conversation poetically by saying, “Birds should stay in their own habitat. It is special to have a nice peaceful space.”

At the farmhouse, Nani shared that they cultivate their own vegetables and rear cattle there. His son Arjun has assigned each cow a name, which include Bheem, Radha and Krishna.

Now talking about the interior of the farmhouse, it has earthy tones. Instead of overt opulence and grandeur, the design reflects subtle elegance with natural tones, minimal aesthetics, and textures. The living room features a sofa, pieces of artwork arranged on a wall and hand-woven throws, and ceramic centerpieces to give it a warm touch.

Keeping up with the contemporary and minimalistic aesthetic of the house, the Puja room, despite being traditional, has a bit modern touch to it. It features intricate wooden carvings and a marble altar. The farmhouse's, upper floor balcony is spacious and offers a quieter picture of the property where the family time and simple routines are given importance over the spectacular of an associated with a star’s home.

Meanwhile, Nani’s The Paradise has already recorded a notable pre-release milestone. The Telugu language period action drama is directed by Srikanth Odela. It also stars Raghav Juyal, Kayadu Lohar, Mohan Babu, and Sonali Kulkarni in key roles. As per Sacnilk, the movie, The Paradise, has crossed the Rs 40 crore worldwide gross mark through advance sales and paid premiere shows before its regular morning shows began. It is Nani‘s biggest opening day start through advance bookings alone, moving ahead of his career-best opener, HIT: The third Case, which reportedly earned Rs 37.80 crore worldwide on its first day.
