What is Mirzapur: The Movie about?

Unlike a direct continuation of the web series, the film revisits the period covered by its first season. It explores a power struggle that unfolds around Kaleen Bhaiya and the criminal network he controls.

The trouble begins in the story when Babban Yadav, who is a drug lord from Jaisalmer, steals a major narcotics consignment and threatens the existing balance of power inside Mirzapur. As the conflict goes on Kaleen Bhaiya faces pressure to expand his illegal drug business, while the people closest to him get involved in a dangerous fight.

Guddu and Bablu Pandit, along with Munna Tripathi, become part of this conflict as alliances and loyalties get tested.

The cast further also includes Ravi Kishan, Rasika Dugal, Shweta Tripathi, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Abhishek Banerjee, Harshita Gaur, Rajesh Tailang, Sheeba Chaddha and Sonal Chauhan, among others.
