Hanuman Ansh box office collection day 47: Neem Karoli Baba’s hit biopic stays steady, crosses Rs 331 crore across the nation

Hanuman Ansh remains rock steady at the box-office. On day 47 of its releases, the devotional drama earned an impressive Rs 4.90 crore. The film has so far earned a total gross collection of Rs 331.77 crore in India, while its net earnings stand at Rs 280.99 crore as per the latest updates shared by the box-office tracking portal Sacnilk.com. While the box-office collection experienced a huge decline from day 45 to day 45 (from Rs 13.75 crore to Rs 4.15 crore), nevertheless on day 47, the figures showed a marginal improvement.

Helmed by Dr Vishal Chaturvedi, Hanuman Ansh (Descendant of Hanuman), the film is a devotional drama and a biographical film simultaneously. The movie explores the life of Hindu guru and Lord Hanuman devotee Neem Karoli Baba. The movie is based on the book Divine Detour: That Changed My Life, based on Baba’s life, which has also been penned by Chaturvedi. The movie begins with 13-year-old Lakshminarayan Sharma, leaving his hometown of Akbarpur after the demise of his mother. He becomes engrossed with the Hanuman Chalisa and seeks union with Lord Rama through Lord Hanuman. It also traces his journey from being a wandering ascetic to becoming Neem Karoli Baba, a celebrated saint. The movie stars new actors Shobhinaw Satyaa and Chandan Anand in lead roles, while other actors such as Anil Rastogi, Purnima Tiwwari, Sugandha Malhotra, Bhagvandas Patel, and Neha Paranjpe appear in supporting roles.

The movie began its box-office journey without much fanfare, earning less than Rs 1 crore at first. But positive word-of-mouth helped it steady, and from the third week onwards, box-office collection jumped significantly.


It is one of the most profitable Indian movies ever, created with a budget reported to be under ₹2 crore. It is the third most successful Hindi movie in 2026 and also the third most successful Indian movie of that year.
