Dhamaal 4 is expected to stream on Netflix after its theatrical run. Reports have suggested September 4, 2026 as the tentative OTT release date. The film's association with Netflix was also reported by GQ India, which said Netflix is the movie's streaming partner and that the platform was revealed in the opening credits.However, September 4 should not be treated as a confirmed release date yet. An official announcement from the makers or Netflix is still awaited.
The movie arrived in cinemas on July 10, so a September OTT premiere would also fall within the usual gap that many films maintain between their theatrical and digital releases.

The new film once again builds its story around a treasure hunt, which has been one of the familiar elements of the franchise. This time, the characters get involved in a search for a mysterious treasure and, as expected, things quickly go out of control.Ajay Devgn plays Guddu, while Arshad Warsi is Adi, Riteish Deshmukh plays Lallan and Jaaved Jaaferi returns as Manav. The treasure hunt brings the group into a series of confusing and comic situations as more characters become involved in the race. The film's official story is described as a hunt for the "Treasure of Life", turning into a chain of chaotic misadventures.

Directed by Indra Kumar, Dhamaal 4 has a large ensemble cast. Apart from Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh and Jaaved Jaaferi, the film features Sanjeeda Sheikh, Anjali Anand, Ravi Kishan, Esha Gupta, Sanjay Mishra, Upendra Limaye and Vijay Patkar in important roles.Paritosh Painter, Vedd Prakash and Bunty Rathore are credited among the writers, while Ajay Devgn, Bhushan Kumar, Indra Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anand Pandit, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Ashok Thakeria are among the producers.
The comedy has also managed a sizeable theatrical run. The Indian Express reported that the film had crossed ₹194 crore worldwide by July 26, with its domestic net collection standing at ₹143.47 crore at that point.
More recent trade figures have put its India net collection above ₹150 crore, showing that the franchise still has a sizeable audience in theatres.
