The wait is almost over for fans of Bigg Boss Telugu. The popular reality show is returning with its milestone season 10, and the makers have already begun building excitement by unveiling the first official promo. Hosted once again by superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni, the landmark edition has a refreshed format, new twists and a bigger game than ever before. Titled "Bigg Boss Dhasavatharam," the new season hints that viewers can expect several changes when the reality show returns.

When and where to watch Bigg Boss Telugu 10

According to NDTV report, Bigg Boss Telugu Season 10 is expected to premiere on September 6, with regular episodes likely beginning from September 7. While the makers have not officially confirmed the launch date or telecast timings, the show is expected to air on Star Maa and stream simultaneously on JioHotstar, continuing the format followed in previous seasons.

The upcoming edition is also expected to run for nearly 15 weeks, although an official announcement regarding the schedule is still awaited.

Nagarjuna returns as host

Putting months of speculation to rest, Nagarjuna Akkineni is officially returning to host the landmark tenth season. The recently released promo features the actor alongside the iconic Bigg Boss eye logo and teases a completely revamped game under the theme "Bigg Boss Dhasavatharam."

The promo suggests that the rules and gameplay will undergo major changes, with the makers hinting that "the game is changing" and promising a season unlike any before.

Nagarjuna has hosted the Telugu version of Bigg Boss since Season 3 and has become one of the biggest reasons behind the show's popularity.

Nagarjuna wants to meet contestants without knowing them

Ahead of the new season, Nagarjuna shared that he has intentionally chosen not to look at the contestant list before entering the show.

Speaking to Variety India, the actor explained that he wants every first interaction inside the house to feel genuine and spontaneous rather than being influenced by what he already knows about the participants.

Nagarjuna also admitted that when he first started hosting the reality show, he found it difficult to judge people. However, with experience over the years, he gradually became more comfortable handling the responsibilities that come with the role.

The actor also made it clear that disrespectful behaviour inside the house will not be encouraged. Speaking to Variety India, he said he does not approve of unruly conduct because the programme is watched by families and children, adding that contestants displaying such behaviour will be cautioned or warned.

Bigg Boss Agnipariksha brings a major twist

One of the biggest additions this season is a new digital pre-show reportedly titled Bigg Boss Agnipariksha.

Unlike previous seasons, commoners will reportedly have an opportunity to compete for a place inside the Bigg Boss house through this special competition. According to the same report, the 15-day pre-show will begin on August 15 on Star Maa and JioHotstar. Around 15 shortlisted contestants are expected to participate in a series of physical and mental challenges designed to test their patience, personality and determination.

The pre-show will reportedly be hosted by Sreemukhi, while former Bigg Boss Telugu contestants Navdeep, Bindu Madhavi and Abijeet will mentor and judge the participants.

It is still unclear whether the winners of the competition will enter the Bigg Boss house during the grand premiere or later as wildcard contestants.

Contestant list remains under wraps

As with every season, speculation around the contestants has already taken over social media. Several names are being linked to the show, including Pallavi Gowda, Deepika Rangaraju, Express Hari, Rocking Rakesh, Pandu Master, Chandrahas, Tejaswini Gowda and Uppal Balu.

However, the makers have not officially confirmed any contestant, and the final list is expected to be revealed only during the grand premiere.

The makers have also not announced the winner's prize money for Season 10. While reports suggest the cash prize could remain similar to previous editions, there has been no official confirmation regarding the amount or whether additional rewards will be introduced as part of the milestone season.
