Android navigation just got easier with Google

Google's on a drive to make the search box do much more than searching. A few weeks back, it introduced an option to find your phone from the box; this time, it's sending directions to your handset with about three clicks.

It 's ridiculously simple to use: just Google 'send directions', with a pop-up box giv ing you options to choose your route and which handset (from your list of connected Android devices) to send it to. Once you click send, your phone will open up Google Maps in a matter of seconds, and you'll be good to go.

You may have already been using a similar, clickfree feature for years now – if you Google for a location on the desktop before going somewhere, you can pull up Google Now, and it will normally give you the option to navigate to that place. But the new integration is even slicker, and entirely reliable. Just step closer into the welcoming arms of Google, and don't ask questions.
