The row surfaced after the singer's long-time manager Danny Nozell filed a request for a restraining order against her nephew Bryan Seaver, alleging he made threats to to extort money from the vast enterprise, which includes an amusement park, a hotel and soon-to-be-opened museum.

Among the most notable additions is a new park character known as the Dream Maker, inspired by Parton’s famous Imagination Library initiative, which has distributed millions of free books to children around the world.

Further changes are planned for The Dolly Parton Experience, a multi-building attraction that chronicles her rise from a young girl in Sevier County to a global entertainment star.

The celebrations extend beyond the theme park itself. The city of Sevierville, where Parton spent her childhood, is preparing a self-guided walking tour featuring locations that played an important role in her early life. Historical markers will be installed around the city, allowing visitors to explore the places connected to her family, upbringing and journey to stardom.
