Flight gets bogged down on taxi-way at IGI
An Air India flight coming from Bangkok with 169 passengers on board got bogged down on the taxi-way at the airport here after developing landing gear problems this morning, disrupting air traffic for about three hours.

NEW DELHI: An Air India flight coming from Bangkok with 169 passengers on board got bogged down on the taxi-way at the airport here after developing landing gear problems this morning, disrupting air traffic for about three hours.
All passengers are safe and they de-boarded the plane after being in the aircraft for about an hour.
After clearing the runway, the Bangkok-New Delhi (AI-349) flight, which landed at 6:26 am, entered the taxi way but front wheels skidded and got bogged down on the soft soil, airport sources said.
The main runway of the Indira Gandhi International airport was still closed when reports last came. However, the second runway was operational.
Heavy pick-up lifts and cranes have already started pulling out the aircraft and towing it away.
