'Air India, Jet flights to evacuate Indians from Bangkok

NEW DELHI: With Indian as well as other international passengers stranded at Bangkok airport due to political unrest prevailing in Thailand, Air India and Jet Airways are operating flights to and from Utaphao, a Thai naval base airport, to evacuate Indians.

According to sources, both the airlines have been operating their flights to and from Utaphao to India for the last few days while Jet Airwaus has been flying to and from Utaphao to Mumbai and Kolkata.
