Vingo raises Rs 10 crore seed funding to build India’s pre-owned goods marketplace
With an impressive ten crore rupees secured in seed funding, Vingo is set to revolutionize its pre-owned goods marketplace. Focused on establishing trust within its user community across India, the platform specializes in peer-to-peer transactions...
The round also saw participation from Inuka Capital and Rishabh Goel, founder of Credgenics. The startup said the funds will be used to strengthen its product, build trust and payment infrastructure, deepen user research and expand marketing. The platform is currently live in Bengaluru.

Vingo aims to differentiate itself by combining identity verification, community-led discovery, escrow-backed payments and bidding to improve trust between buyers and sellers.
“Consumer-to-consumer commerce is increasingly becoming a way for people to own products they may not otherwise buy new, while helping someone else realise value from products they no longer use. We are building Vingo around that behaviour by making it easier for people to discover, trust and transact directly with one another,” said Parth Sarthi, co-founder of Vingo.
Unlike horizontal ecommerce marketplaces, Vingo is targeting peer-to-peer transactions, where trust and successful deal completion have remained key challenges. The company said its platform is built on the premise that the person behind a listing is as important as the product itself, using verified identities and escrow-backed payments to increase confidence between buyers and sellers.
It focuses on categories such as smartphones, cameras, gaming consoles, musical instruments, fashion and sports equipment, targeting consumers looking to buy premium products at lower prices. It also features unique collectibles, including signed sports memorabilia.
India’s recommerce market is expected to expand to $8.61 billion by 2030 from $5.91 billion in 2026, according to Research and Markets, as more consumers embrace online resale of pre-owned goods. Vingo is targeting the consumer-to-consumer segment within this broader market.
The company joins a growing number of companies seeking to capitalise on India’s expanding resale economy, driven by rising demand for affordable premium products and greater acceptance of buying second-hand goods online. It plans to use the fresh capital to expand beyond Bengaluru while continuing to invest in product capabilities and trust infrastructure.
“We believe consumer-to-consumer commerce in India needs a fresh approach built from the ground up. The Vingo team has a thoughtful approach to the category, and we are excited to partner with them as they build,” said Madhukar Sinha, partner at IndiaQuotient.
