Structural audits are currently underway for another nine towers, comprising 888 dwelling units. construction work of 5989 units spread across various projects in JIL Wish Town.
The company has completed the construction of 84 towers, comprising 7,913 units. Out of these, Occupancy Certificates (OCs) have been received for 42 towers, comprising 4,213 units. In addition, the company has applied for OCs for 26 more towers, covering 2,229 dwelling units, with approvals expected shortly.
Once the structural audits and Fire NOCs for these towers are completed, the company will begin the process of applying for Occupancy Certificates.
Beyond Wish Town, company has also achieved significant progress across its other development projects in line with the approved Resolution Plan. The company has secured the revalidation of the Master Plan for LFD-3 (Mirzapur Land Parcel). It has also filed Project Completion with YEIDA for two plotted developments—Yamuna Vihar, comprising 822 plots, and Sunnyvale Homes, comprising 467 plots.
Besides this, Ganga water supply has now been made available across Wish Town in Sectors 128, 129, 131, 133 and 134, significantly enhancing civic infrastructure and improving the quality of life for residents.
Eleven cluster clubs are expected to become operational by the end of this financial year, benefiting more than 16000 families residing in Wish Town.
To support the growing residential population, company has also enhanced the township's power infrastructure. The electrical load capacity of GSS-I has been increased from 19.8 MVA to 35 MVA, while GSS-II currently has a load of 9.7 MVA.
"The receipt of Occupancy Certificates for 42 towers, expansion of Ganga water supply, enhancement of power infrastructure, and rapid development of community amenities reflect our commitment to delivering a fully integrated and vibrant township. We are equally focused on enhancing the infrastructure, whether through smart technologies on the Yamuna Expressway or by expanding social infrastructure within the township,” said Jash Panchamia, Executive Director, Jaypee Infratech Limited.
On the Yamuna Expressway, the company continues to enhance sustainability and commuter safety. The company has completed the geo-tagging of nearly 1.5 lakh trees along both sides and the central verge of the expressway, enabling better monitoring, maintenance, and preservation of the green cover.
To further strengthen road safety, AI-based image processing cameras have been installed to detect unusual driving behaviour, including wrong-side driving, unauthorised parking, and the presence of foreign objects or animals on the carriageway. The intelligent system generates real-time alerts, enabling prompt preventive action by the authorities.
Additionally, these AI-enabled cameras are being upgraded with fog detection capabilities, which will enable to reduce fog-related accidents during the winter months.
Suraksha is expected to invest about Rs 5,500 crore towards completing construction of about 20,000 homes of Jaypee group in Noida and Greater Noida. These units are expected to be delivered by 2027.
Overall, 159 residential towers are to be completed.
On May 24, 2024, the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) approved SurakshaGroup's resolution plan, directing the company to compensate YEIDA with Rs 1,335 crore over the next four years for the benefit of farmers.
Suraksha's plan, submitted to the bankruptcy court in April, originally proposed Rs 1,216 crore in enhanced compensation, with payments structured as 10% within 90 days, 15% by the end of the first year, and 25% annually over the next three years.
