How Avas is shaping Alibaug’s emerging wellness real estate landscape

Avas is expanding its presence in Alibaug with the launch of two new residential communities, including Alaaya by Avas, while doubling down on wellness and hospitality through Casa Avana and the upcoming Avas Wellness Club. Together, these additions are set to create an integrated wellness and lifestyle destination unlike anything currently offered in the region, bringing exceptional homes together with wellness, longevity, recreation, hospitality and community.

Building on the success of Avas Living, its flagship residential community in Awas, Avas is expanding its footprint with two distinct communities that will introduce a diverse range of architectural expressions while remaining rooted in the brand’s philosophy of thoughtful, nature-led living.

Design will remain central to this evolution. According to the company, Avas Design Studio collaborates with leading global architects and design experts, including award-winning South African architecture firm SAOTA and Madrid-based architect Felipe Gonsalves of Studio Sukyf, to create residences with distinct architectural identities. Across the new communities, the architecture will draw on diverse design influences, including Neo-Mediterranean, Spanish Revival, Balinese, tropical modernist and contemporary minimalist styles. Natural stone, warm timber, tactile finishes, expansive views, and landscaped indoor-outdoor spaces will further shape homes that respond thoughtfully to Alibaug’s tropical setting.

Beyond the residences, Avas is creating a wider ecosystem around how people live, move, recover and connect. A dedicated court club will bring together racquet sports, fitness and recovery amenities, creating an active social environment for residents and members.

At the centre of this next phase is Casa Avana, planned as a wellness, hospitality and cultural destination. It will bring together a spa, dining spaces, landscaped gardens, recreational facilities, art and private gathering spaces, alongside social experiences designed for different times of the day.

The ecosystem will be further strengthened by the Avas Wellness Club, planned for launch by the end of 2026, with programmes spanning preventive wellness, longevity, fitness, recovery, beauty and skin, nutrition and curated culinary experiences. This Diwali, Avas will also introduce its Wellness Club Membership, initially bringing together a highly curated community of residents and their guests, prospective homeowners and select Alibaug residents. As the ecosystem grows, the membership will evolve organically, shaped by a shared philosophy of living well.
