L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Onshore, which according to the release provides end-to-end EPCC solutions across the onshore energy value chain one, signs a six-year engineering, procurement and construction Framework Agreement with Oman’s leading oil and gas company, Petroleum Development Oman (PDO).

The Energy company stated that it is USD 32 billion Indian multinational engaged in EPC Projects, hi-tech manufacturing, products and services and is tying up with Petroleum Development Oman, which is the leading exploration and production company in the Sultanate of Oman and delivers the majority of the Oman's crude oil production and natural gas supply.

According to the release, the agreement between the two firms outline L&T being selected as one of four EPC contractors to participate in PDO's upcoming front-end engineering design and EPC projects over the agreement period, in which the company claims it will bring in its integrated engineering and execution capability, global expertise and innovation to support PDO's future project requirements.

"This Framework Agreement marks an important milestone in our long-standing association with Petroleum Development Oman. We look forward to supporting PDO's development plans through safe, innovative and sustainable project delivery, while contributing to Oman's long-term energy and economic growth objectives,” said E S Sathyanarayanan, Senior Vice President & Head - L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Onshore.
