New Delhi: Apple continued its record revenue run in India in the June quarter unfazed by soaring memory chip prices, with its Mac computers recording their best-ever sales in the country, the company said Friday.

Mac emerged as the standout performer for the iPhone maker, with global Mac revenue rising 29% year-on-year to $10.4 billion. Apple chief financial officer Kevan Parekh said the company delivered growth across both developed and emerging markets, with strong double-digit gains in Latin America, India and Southeast Asia. "We continue to attract new customers to the product around the world...Mac had its best quarter ever for customers new to the Mac and for upgraders worldwide, including in the US, China mainland and India," said Parekh.
