Hyundai Motor India opens booking for Bayon at Rs 11,000; check how to book, specifications & more

Hyundai Motor India Limited on Wednesday opened the bookings for what the automaker called 'Intelligent Utility Vehicle' Hyundai Bayon.

The carmaker has opened the bookings at an initial amount of Rs 11,000.

Hyundai Bayon is occupied with in-built generative AI voice assistant for connected mobility experience and built on Global K Enhanced Platform.


"Hyundai BAYON introduces a new dimension of human-centric technology and unlocks a truly intuitive mobility experience," said Tarun Garg, Managing Director and CEO, Hyundai Motor India Limited, adding that the car has been developed for new-age Indian customers who seek more from their vehicles: more intelligence, more comfort, more confidence and more style.

The latest launch features a sculpted bonnet design, futuristic front fascia and signature H-Edge LED DRLs. It further includes geometric wheel arches, wrap-around door cladding and bridge-type roof rails.

The car spans 4.2m long and is a mid-size SUV with intelligent space utilization that provides enough legroom, headroom and shoulder room for all occupants.

Hyundai has marketed BAYON with the philosophy of “Intelligence That Moves.” Since the model has in-built generative AI voice assistant, it combines advanced technology, connected convenience and safety.

Hyundai BAYON is powered by the company's petrol powertrain, engineered to deliver a refined, responsive and fuel-efficient driving experience. Customers can choose between a Manual Transmission (MT) and Hyundai’s smooth Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT) for a comfortable and convenient drive.

How can I book the Hyundai BAYON?

Customers can book the Hyundai BAYON online through Hyundai's official website (hyundai.co.in). They can also book it at any authorized Hyundai dealership with a booking amount of Rs 11000.

However, the automaker has not communicated the delivery timeline of Bayon for the upcoming festive season.

"Coming this festive season, the delivery timeline of Hyundai BAYON will be communicated at the time of launch," it said.
