Maruti Suzuki Brezza 2026 vs old model: Here's everything that's new in the facelift model

Maruti Suzuki has updated the Brezza for 2026 with a refreshed design, new technology, additional safety features and a new turbo-petrol engine. While the compact SUV retains its familiar shape and dimensions, the facelift introduces several upgrades aimed at keeping it competitive in the segment.

The newly launched turbo-petrol variants are priced from Rs 7.40 lakh, while prices for the rest of the range are yet to be announced. Here's a detailed comparison between the new Brezza and its predecessor.

Exterior updates

The 2026 Brezza retains its overall design but receives subtle styling revisions.


At the front, the SUV gets a redesigned grille with a smoked chrome insert, new triangular fog lamp housings and a revised bumper with a silver skid plate. The LED headlamps and daytime running lights remain unchanged.

The profile is largely identical to the outgoing model, although Maruti Suzuki has introduced new 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and updated body cladding. At the rear, the Brezza features redesigned LED tail-lamps with a fresh lighting pattern and a revised bumper.

The SUV continues to measure 3,995 mm in length, 1,790 mm in width and 1,685 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,500 mm.

The facelift also adds two new paint options—Vivacious Orange and Lustrous Beige. Dual-tone colour schemes are now offered with Sizzling Red, Lustrous Beige and Pearl Arctic White.

Cabin and features

The dashboard layout remains familiar, but the cabin receives several cosmetic and technology upgrades.

The facelift introduces new gloss black inserts, revised seat upholstery and updated interior trims. A larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system replaces the earlier 9-inch display and supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Other new features include:

• Ventilated front seats
• 64-colour ambient lighting
• PM2.5 air filter with AQI display
• 360-degree camera

Most of the existing comfort and convenience features have been carried over.

Safety enhancements

Maruti Suzuki has expanded the Brezza's safety package by adding several new features.

The updated SUV now offers:

• Blind spot monitoring
• Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS)
• Front parking sensors
• Rear cross-traffic alert
• Safe exit warning

The remaining safety equipment from the outgoing model continues unchanged.

Engine and transmission

The biggest change under the hood is the addition of a new 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine borrowed from the Fronx.

The three-cylinder engine produces 110 PS and 170 Nm of torque and is paired with a six-speed manual transmission.

The existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and the CNG option remain part of the lineup.

The CNG variants now feature an underbody CNG tank, similar to the setup offered in the Victoris. While the turbo-petrol and CNG variants are available with a six-speed manual gearbox, the 1.5-litre petrol version continues with a six-speed automatic transmission.

Fuel efficiency

The updated Brezza claims improved mileage figures across all powertrains.
