Mumbai: Mahindra & Mahindra on Friday unveiled its new global midsize pickup truck Scorpio Lifestyler, which will be launched in India by April 2027. The automaker announced that the pickup will be priced below Rs 19.79 lakh (ex-showroom) at the entry level.
The vehicle, first showcased as a concept in South Africa in August 2023, has been developed in India and will also be sold in international markets as the Mahindra Lifestyler.

What the Scorpio Lifestyler offers
<p>Scorpio Lifestyler Trail Edition<br></p>The Scorpio Lifestyler is based on Mahindra's next-generation body-on-frame architecture. The company said the vehicle has been developed with a focus on payload capability, durability, safety, technology and everyday usability.
Mahindra showcased three versions of the pickup - Valley, Reef and Trail - aimed at different use cases.
Valley Edition is positioned around a combination of work and leisure
Reef Edition is designed around outdoor and exploration-oriented use
Trail Edition has a more off-road-focused positioning

Scorpio Lifestyler: Built for global markets
The pickup has been designed at Mahindra India Design Studio in Mumbai and developed at Mahindra Research Valley in Chennai.
India's largest SUV maker plans to sell the vehicle across markets including Australia and New Zealand, South Africa and other African markets, the Middle East and Latin America.
The company said the model has been developed as a global product to meet different market and regulatory requirements, while leveraging Mahindra's existing experience in the pickup segment.
