Ganesh Visarjan 2026 will be observed on Friday, September 25, 2026, on the auspicious occasion of Anant Chaturdashi. After days of Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, devotees will bid farewell to Lord Ganesha with prayers, aarti, offerings and the traditional immersion of the idol.

However, there is no single Ganesh Visarjan muhurat for the entire country. The auspicious Choghadiya periods vary from city to city because they are calculated according to local sunrise and sunset. Ganesh Visarjan 2026 Puja Vidhi

Before taking Bappa for immersion, devotees traditionally perform a final farewell puja.

Step 1: Clean the Puja Area

Clean the place where the Ganesha idol has been installed and arrange the final puja items.

Step 2: Offer Flowers And Durva

Offer fresh flowers, durva grass, fruits and other customary items to Lord Ganesha.

Step 3: Offer Modak Or Prasad
