Who is Mike Clum? How the director’s ‘The Sick Mind of EDP445’ documentary led to YouTuber’s arrest over attempting to meet a 13-year-old girl

Former YouTuber and social media personality known as EDP445, was arrested on Wednesday, October 4 in Las Vegas, on felony charges including attempted lewd acts with a child, TMZ reported. The arrest was a result of director Mike Clum’s 2026 documentary, ‘The Sick Mind of EDP445’.

The Kern County District Attorney’s Office confirmed to TMZ that the comments made by the YouTuber, whose real name is Bryant Moreland, in Clum’s documentary led to an investigation being reopened.

The over one-and-a-half hour long documentary featured a sequence with television personality Chris Hansen. Hansen asked the YouTuber, “You were trying to have sex with a 13-year-old?”, to which Moreland replied, “For the most part, yep.”

The question was in reference to a 2021 sting by another YouTuber, Alex Rosen. Rosen had pretended to be a 13-year-old girl and communicated with Moreland. Moreland had later showed up to an apartment complex to meet up with the ‘13-year-old’. Replying to Hansen’s question, Moreland further added, “I showed up to that location that day trying to obviously meet up with an underage girl. You know what I mean? And I guess you can say…I don’t know…trying to have sex.” The sting led to Moreland losing his platform.
