Eric Deters, a supporter of US President Donald Trump, has threatened to bring down his administration.

Eric Deters, a supporter of US President Donald Trump, has threatened to bring down his administration. He also stated that he is suing Kimberly Guilfoyle, former U.S. Ambassador to Greece, claiming that she defamed him by asserting that text exchanges between them regarding a demand for money to pay her debts were fake.

This comes days after a news report in The Wall Street Journal revealed that Guilfoyle, who is the former fiancé of Donald Trump Jr., allegedly approached Deters to pay her $100,000 American Express balance without leaving a paper trail. She reportedly promised to help him reach senior administration officials as part of the apparent deal.

Deters, a former congressional candidate in Kentucky, released a video on Thursday (October 15, 2026). In the 1-minute-16-second clip, he claimed that he is in possession of a phone call recording that he is planning to release publicly on Friday (October 16, 2026).

In the same video, Deters said that the phone call recording can “bring down the entire Trump administration.” He also stated that the call recording contains “most explosive” and “most devastating” information about Guilfoyle. He also claimed that besides being a serious threat for Trump, the call recording can also end JD Vance and Marco Rubio's chances of winning the 2028 presidential election.

According to TMZ, Deters likened Kimberly to Apate, the Greek goddess of deception, guile, and fraud. He stated that she defamed him by calling the text exchanges “fake.” He also demanded an apology, a public admission by Guilfoyle and $1 million.
