MIKE TYSON JOINS TRUMP ABOARD AIR FORCE ONE FOR SYRACUSE RALLY
According to The Hill, Tyson appeared at the White House on Friday afternoon, where he informed reporters that he would accompany Trump aboard Air Force One to Syracuse for the president's election rally. The boxing icon also reportedly expressed confidence in Trump's political fortunes, predicting, Trump's victory ahead of the midterm elections.
"I think Donald Trump will win," Tyson said in the White House briefing roomm, as quoted by the outlet, when asked how Republicans would fare in the midterm elections.
The former heavyweight champion was later seen standing alongside Trump as the president addressed reporters before their departure. The atmosphere was noticeably lighthearted, with Trump joking that he had no intention of fighting against Tyson that day.
Tyson's appearance was another example of his continued public support for Trump. The former boxing champion has attended other political events alongside the president this year, including a rally in Las Vegas in August, reported The Hill. His presence added a familiar celebrity face to Trump's campaign appearance in Syracuse.
