When is early voting in Texas?
Early voting in Texas starts on Monday, Oct. 19, and continues through Friday, Oct. 30. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3.Millions of Texans will vote in the Nov. 3, 2026, general elections. The ballot will have the U.S. Senate race along with statewide contests for governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general.
Candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives will also appear on ballots. Depending on where they reside, some voters will also vote in Texas Senate and Texas House races, as well as county, city and school district elections.

Early voting hours vary by county
Early voting hours are typically 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. However, some counties have longer hours on specific days.Travis County, for example, has extended voting hours until 10 p.m. on some days. Weekend early voting hours vary from county to county.

Travis County locations open until 10 p.m.
Seven Travis County polling locations will continue to be open until 10 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29, and Friday, Oct. 30, the final two days of early voting.The locations are:

What races will be on the ballot?
