Meghan Markle’s father, Thomas Markle, has a Mexico storage unit with a stash of child pornography
The stash reportedly included books about pedophilia and magazines showing children being sexually abused. Besides this, the hoard also contained several loose photographs of naked Asian females. In some of the photographs, women appeared young.
As more and more details emerged following the shocking discovery, family mementoes, photographs, and letters were also found alongside the stash of explicit material. Following the gruesome discoveries, Thomas was reported to the FBI by publication.
How did the disturbing discovery take place?
A reporter from The Daily Mail travelled to Rosarito Beach in Mexico. They were trying to seek details about Thomas Markle's past life there. The publication was told that a storage unit had been rented and abandoned by him.
According to the receipts seen by the publication, he rented the 5 ft by 10 ft unit in 2017. This was six years after he moved to Rosarito, ten miles from the US border. Markle reportedly failed to keep up with his lease-agreement payments for the past two years. The reporter was granted access to the unit.
More chilling details emerge
Chilling disclosures continued as The Daily Mail kept digging in further. The publication unveiled 35mm negatives displaying apparently random, voyeuristic images of children on a beach. In other negatives, a woman was seen with her limbs bound or ‘hogtied’ and being directed by a man during a photo shoot.
Thomas Markle is a cinematographer and the former Hollywood lighting technician. The latest discovery linked to the 82-year-old comes as police obtained a warrant to investigate child-sex images allegedly found in boxes of Markle’s possessions.
According to The Daily Mail, those boxes were found in the home of his son, Thomas Markle Jr., in the Philippines, where he was living after fleeing Rosarito in January 2025. An investigation was launched after his son, Thomas Markle Jr, alerted Philippine National Police to the reported stash. The latest Mexico discoveries can land him jail facing ten to 12 years sentence if charged and convicted.
According to The Daily Mail’s findings, most of the photos found among 20 storage boxes in the Rosarito unit were apparently taken when Thomas was in his 40s or 50s. The stash included photos of naked women. It also included several videotapes and also a stack of books that includes titles such as Forbidden Sexual Behavior and Morality, The Intimate Sex Lives of Famous People, and The Invisible Children.
