‘Looksmaxxing’ influencer Clavicular pleads not guilty to raping 17-year-old: Here’s more about the case and allegations against him
Branden Eric Peters, popularly recognized as influencer Clavicular, stands accused of grave offenses, such as rape and drug-related charges, linked to incidents from May 2025 during a livestream at his Cape Cod residence. While Clavicular insists ...

Braden Peters, also known as Clavicular, waits for his arraignment in Orleans District Court, Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026, in Orleans.
Clavicular has denied the allegations and said the incident was consensual. He was granted a $10,000 bail on Thursday, October 22. The influencer was further ordered not to contact his accuser in any way or even post about her. The court has also directed him to surrender the passport.
Where does the case stem from?
The case against Clavicular stems from an alleged incident that took place in May 2025. The influencer allegedly pressured a 17 year old girl to get drunk and raped her while she was asleep. The incident allegedly took place in Clavicular’s family home in Cape Cod, according to a police complaint.
The girl complained to the police on May 23, 2025. She told cops that Clavicular had ordered her a cab to his Cape Cod home. They reportedly drank and appeared on a livestream together before the alleged incident occurred.
According to CBS News, the police officer who took the report said he did not believe the girl could have consented. He said this was because of her age and the level of intoxication she appeared to be at during the livestream.
What have the police said?
According to NPR, citing a police narrative in court documents, the girl began communicating with Clavicular through Instagram. The influencer paid her to appear on his livestream and offered to help her make a name on social media.
The influencer invited her to his home in May 2025 and allegedly told her to say she was 18 on the livestream. He also asked her to say that she was drinking water instead of vodka during the livestream, NPR reported.
The police have further said that the alleged victim did not receive a forensic sexual assault exam after the alleged incident.
The age of consent in Massachusetts is 16, but the victim has alleged that Clavicular served her with alcohol despite her being below the drinking age. She alleged that he served her to the point she could no longer consent, and then allegedly raped her.

Clavicular claims the girl consented
Earlier, Clavicular posted a video on social media containing screenshots of a text conversation with the alleged victim and the picture of a handwritten letter. He captioned the post with, “There’s better ways to make money than suing someone because they don’t want you,” he added, “Interesting…Greed is a sin…Yeah still texting me to this day, totally not just trying to be greedy and get a check”.
After he was sued in April 2025, he reacted with, “Trying to get my attention in any way possible, a lawsuit? Seriously…really petty of you”. In another post Clavicular wrote, “Lmao was literally trying to work at Bacara as a bottle girl…how about don’t finance cars you can’t afford.” “Happens to all successful young men, people try to come for you money. Greed is evil,” he further added.
This is not Clavicular’s first run-in with the law
The looksmaxxing influencer had an arrest warrant issued against him in March 2026. Police in Florida alleged that Clavicular had instigated a physical fight between two women at a rental. He had later posted a video online. The influencer was taken into custody but the charges were later dropped.
He was also charged with illegally shooting a firearm in April 2026. A video showed the influencer and others firing at a dead alligator in the Florida Everglades.
