Khloé Kardashian opens up about why she is hesitant about having another child despite loving the idea of giving True a sister

Family planning can involve a combination of hopes, personal priorities and certain considerations. Khloé Kardashian has opened up about these feelings in an episode of The Kardashians, where she discusses with her mother, Kris Jenner, regarding the possibility of welcoming another daughter and the duties with raising a child.

True’s suggestion sparks a conversation

During her talk with Kris, Khloé shares how her daughter, True Thompson, has become interested in having a sister. True has even suggested a name for a potential sibling, and Khloé discloses that she likes the choice, too.

“I think I want to use this name if I ever do it,” Khloé cites before disclosing the name as “Tyla.”


Khloé shares two children, True and Tatum, with her former partner, Tristan Thompson. Although she likes the idea of another daughter, she has not revealed a final decision regarding the expansion of her family.

Khloé shares her concerns about motherhood

While the possibility of another child appeals to her, Khloé admits that raising another baby would bring extra responsibilities.

“I don't know if I have the bandwidth to have another baby,” she states.

Khloé has also talked about how her past relationships have impacted her perspectives on dating and family life. Discussing with Kris in an October 15 episode of The Kardashians, she described that she remains open to finding love but does not necessarily want to have children with a future partner.

“When you have a baby, it’s forever. So, choose wisely, people,” she stated.

She also mentioned that preserving stability at home is important to her.

The meaning behind the name Tyla

The potential name Tyla also mirrors Khloé’s preference for unique, contemporary names. Name expert Colleen Slagen explains her naming style as “boutique athleisure,” describing that the names are “very cool and sporty and breezy” while also being “modern” and “elegant.”

Khloé’s children, True and Tatum, both have names starting with the letter T. Tyla would continue that pattern if she wishes and decides to welcome another daughter.
