Bronx woman thrown from a 15th-floor balcony had a history of domestic disputes

As the investigation into the fatal balcony fall of a Bronx woman continues, police continue the search for the suspect in connection with the incident on Wednesday (October 7, 2026). The incident occurred on Tuesday (October 6, 2026) when the woman was allegedly thrown from the 15th-floor balcony along with her baby.

Police suspect it to be a case of domestic violence, as they continue the search for 31-year-old Angel Carrasco in connection with the incident. The victim, identified as 23-year-old Nathaly Ramirez, died by the fall Tuesday in the Allerton section while the infant remained in critical condition, according to FOX5 New York.

Amid the investigation, the NYPD said that Ramirez's body was discovered just after 3:30 a.m. in a courtyard behind the Allerville Arms at 2550 Olinville Avenue. Police said their injuries were "consistent with a fall from an elevated position."

Investigators searching for her suspect

During the investigation, investigators confirmed that they were looking for Ramirez's boyfriend, or ex-boyfriend. They apparently believe that pushed the two off the balcony on the 15th floor. The couple had a history of domestic violence, and police had been called to the apartment multiple times before, FOX 5 NY reported, citing sources.
