A video going viral on social media claimed that police were called on a three-year-old child during a soccer game in Florida’s Winter Park. According to the family they were escorted off the field along with their son, Nevada, after parents of kids in the opposing team called the police on them.

The family has further claimed that the parents targeted Nevada because he is “too good”. Sharing their story on TikTok, they claimed that the other children were not able to get the ball from him throughout the game, prompting their parents to call the cops.

What happened during the game?

The video posted by the family, and reposted by several accounts on social media shows a children’s soccer game in motion. In the video, Nevada can be seen in a No. 10 blue and red jersey. The number in soccer often represents the attacking midfielder. Those who wear the digits are known to possess a lot of skill. Notably both Lionel Messi and Jude Bellingham wear the number.

His father can be heard cheering him on throughout the game. All the while a coach and parents can be seen supervising the game.

Later in the video Nevada’s mother can be seen talking to the police as he watches. “They really called the police on a three year old because he had the ball too much,” his father can be heard saying in the video. In the video’s caption, the family claimed that the league removed Nevada because “week after week nobody could take the ball off of him”, they added that some parents from opposing teams did not think that was fair.

Family claims the league banned them

In subsequent posts the family has claimed that Nevada, who is three, is playing in a league with five year old children. Even then he dominated the game and was even substituted multiple times during the 30-minute game and scored several times.

Nevada’s family further claimed the league from the field. They reportedly received trespass notice and were escorted off the field. Later they received a refund for their registration for the 2026 fall soccer league.

The soccer game was conducted by i9 Sports. They claim to be America’s largest multi-sport provider and have 5 million registrations across the country. They offer youth leagues, camps and clinics for kids above three in a variety of sports, including soccer, basketball, baseball, volleyball and tennis. The organization has not made a public statement about the incident yet.
