Ric Flair’s daughter Charlotte shares an update on his father’s health after he fell outside a restaurant in Florida

Charlotte Flair, the daughter of wrestling legend Ric Flair, has shared an update about her father’s health condition after he fell outside a restaurant in Florida on Friday. In a post on social media platform X, Charlotte said, “he’s going to be okay”.

"Not my dad telling the doctor he fell bc of warrior dropping him on his head... (p.s. he's going to be okay)" [sic], her post read. The update surfaced after Flair was rushed to the hospital following the incident.

Citing sources, TMZ Sports reported that Flair, 77, was hanging out at Wagamama in Tampa on Friday morning (October 23, 2026) when he got up from the bar, leaving his phone and drink behind and walking across the street.


The sources further told the news outlet that while he was outside, he suddenly fell and injured his face. In a photo obtained by TMZ Sports, Flair can be seen surrounded by emergency medical personnel. He reportedly cut his head and eye open during the fall. His eye was bleeding and he probably had a concussion. He was loaded into an ambulance and taken to the hospital.

The incident occurred a few hours after he released a statement revealing that he was not able to fly to a fan convention in Seattle because of a blood clot in his leg. His doctors told him not to fly too far with the clot. He is reportedly dealing with blood clots for months, and the issue can be serious and even life-threatening.
