Candice Swanepoel’s net worth, career and family: Who is the supermodel reportedly dating Tom Brady?

NFL legend Tom Brady is dating supercodel Candice Swanepoel, Page Six reported. The pair have been together for “a while”, according to a source cited by US Weekly.

Brady has not been publicly vocal about any of his relationships since splitting with Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen. The pair had been married from 2009 to 2022. They share their 16 year old son, Benjamin and 13 years old daughter Vivian. He also shares a 19 year old son with American model and actress Bridget Moynahan.

Since his divorce in 2022, Brady has been romantically linked to several women. These include Kim Kardashian, Sofia Vergara, Yael Cohem, Brook Nader, Alix Earle and Irina Shayk. However, none of these have been confirmed.

Candice Swanepoel is a South African supermodel

Swanepoel was born and raised on a farm in South Africa’s Mooi River. Her family is Afrikaner with Dutch origins, while her mother Eileen Swanepoel is of British origin and her father is from Zimbabwe. She also has an elder brother. She was a ballet dancer as a child and was scouted by a model scout at the age of 15 in a Durban flea market.

The 38 year old supermodel has featured several Vogue editorials, including American, Italian, British, Russian, Japanese and Korean among others. She has also appeared in international editions of Elle, GQ, Harper’s Bazar, W and Allure.

Swanepoel has walked the runway for several big brands including Fendi, Chanel, Tommy Hilfiger, Dolce and Gabbana, Versace, and Christian Dior among others. She has also appeared in advertising campaigns for Tom Ford, Nike, Swarovski and Miu Miu. She gained fame through her campaigns for Chanel and Versace.

Her breakout was when she earned the wings for Victoria’s Secret and became an Angel in 2010. In 2013 she went on to the iconic $10 million Fantasy Bra, which has over 4,200 gems including diamonds and yellow sapphires.

Swanepoel also has children

The supermodel has two sons, 10 year old Anaca and 8 year old Ariel with her ex-fiance. She shares the children with Brazilian model Hermann Nicoli, with whom she had an over a decade long relationship.

The former couple had announced their engagement in 2015, and had their children in 2016 and 2018. The two parted ways in 2018.

Through her various modelling stints, Swanepoel had collected a large net worth estimated to be around $25 million. Throughout her career she had been on Forbes’ “The World’s Top-Earning Models” list a few times.

She first appeared on the list at No. 10 with estimated earnings of $3 million between 2010 and 2011. She was then ranked at No. 9 with $3.3 million in 2019. She then went on to be ranked at No. 8 both in 2015 and 2016 with earnings of $5 million and $7 million respectively.
