Mexican music legend Juan Gabriel's longtime 10-acre South Florida estate lists for $38.9 million

Juan Gabriel's former South Florida estate is up for sale with an asking price of $38.9 million. It is located in Southwest Ranches, west of Fort Lauderdale. The nearly 10-acre property was the longtime home of the Mexican singer-songwriter. The estate has undergone major changes since an LLC purchased it for $9 million in 2022. The compound has six structures. These are a five-bedroom main house, a guest house, a clubhouse, a wellness retreat, a basketball facility and a five-bedroom main house. It has two swimming pools, a private theater, a gym, several ponds and fruit orchards.

Mexican music legend Juan Gabriel has sung more than 1,500 songs and sold over 100 million albums. He once owned a 10-acre estate in Southwest Ranches, Florida. The property has been listed on the market for $38.9 million.

The estate is located west of Fort Lauderdale. It was the longtime home of the singer. Gabriel's real name was Alberto Aguilera Valadez. He used to perform under the stage name “El Divo de Juárez”. He is known for his songs like 'Hasta Que Te Conocí', 'Querida' and 'Amor Eterno.'


The property has been renovated since Gabriel bought it in 1995. It has facilities for sports, entertainment and recreation. There are now six structures on the nearly 10-acre land property.

Gabriel purchased the Southwest Ranches property in 1995. He sold it to his son in 2015, according to public records. He died in 2016 at age of 66. He wrote more than 1,500 songs and sold more than 100 million albums.

The Latin Recording Academy named Gabriel its Person of the Year in 2009 for his contributions to the Latin music. Since 2022, an LLC has owned the property for $9 million, as per the public records. Angeline Earnest of Coldwell Banker Realty and Tommy Crivello of the Tommy Crivello Real Estate Group have listed the property.

The six buildings on the estate are the main house, the guest house, clubhouse, a wellness retreat, an air-conditioned two-car garage and a basketball facility. The main house has five bedrooms. The guest house has three bedrooms and a kitchen that can be used to hold large events. The garage is spread in about 2,000 square feet. The basketball facility is spread in 10,500 square foot covered area. It is currently being used by a nonprofit basketball organization.

The facility has professional athletic flooring, a locker room, a viewing balcony, a conference room and a smoothie bar. It is air-conditioned and can be used for indoor sports and other activities.

The clubhouse has a full bar, a private theater and gaming stations. It also has a scented-air system that works with the heating, ventilating and air-conditioning system. The wellness retreat has a gym, a sauna and steam room. There is also a cold plunge, massage room and tanning bed.




The two swimming pools at the property can be used for resort-style activities. One of the pools has waterfalls and a jumping rock. The tiki pavilion has grills, televisions and a bar.

The property has illuminated murals and sculptures as part of its land features. It also has several ponds like a koi pond located in a secluded part of the estate. There is also a bridge that leads to the koi pond. The landscaping also has several fruit trees and orchards. Several walking paths connect all the different buildings and facilities on the nearly 10-acre land property.
