A $2.1 million deal was quick to follow Justin Baldoni after the settlement of the Baldoni-Lively legal drama. The actor and director has reportedly sold his former Los Angeles home as he and his family settle into life in Tennessee.

The ‘It Ends with Us’ actor sold a three-bedroom, three-bathroom property in Culver City, California, in August, according to Page Six.

The selling price is a significant amount compared to what Baldoni paid for the property in 2017 ($1.04 million). The property was constructed in 1952, occupying a lot size of 5,736 square feet with amenities such as a swimming pool, vaulted wooden ceilings, and interior renovations.

Baldoni and his wife, Emily, have previously carried out significant renovations on the property. In 2020, Baldoni shared the outcome of the renovation on Instagram, referring to the process as a labour of love.

"So after three years we have finally finished our home! So much love has gone into this house, that to say it’s been a labor of love is an understatement. There so much love inside these walls.” he wrote in his 2020 Instagram post.

However, the Culver City home had not been the main family home for Baldoni in recent years. According to a source with knowledge of the sale who spoke to PEOPLE, Baldoni had not resided in the home for years, as the family had first moved to Ojai, California, and then to Nashville.

Baldoni still owns a five-bedroom home in Ojai. The Spanish-style mansion was listed for $8.88 million in April 2026, but the listing was taken down in October, Page Six reported.

Why Justin Baldoni moved to Nashville

PEOPLE reports that the Baldoni family, consisting of his wife and two children, moved to a $3.4 million city home in Nashville.

The relocation followed the intense public scrutiny surrounding Baldoni's legal dispute with Blake Lively, his co-star and co-producer in the 2024 film ‘It Ends with Us’.

Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment, allegations that he denied. Baldoni subsequently filed a $400 million lawsuit against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, which was dismissed in June 2025.

The legal dispute was ultimately settled in May 2026, shortly before the parties were scheduled to go to trial. A joint statement expressed hope that those involved could move forward "constructively and in peace."

The move to Tennessee has been described by sources close to the family as an opportunity to focus on their personal lives.

In May, a source told PEOPLE that Nashville had been welcoming to Baldoni and his wife during a difficult period. “It’s obviously been an incredibly difficult time for the whole family, but Nashville has given them a fresh start,” said the source to the outlet. “Their focus is really on family and moving forward.”

Baldoni and Emily, who married in 2013, have two children, daughter Maiya and son Maxwell.
