The original asking price of the property was $26.995 million. It was first listed at the end of May this year. The property has been on the market for only three months. The property is inside the gated enclave of Malibu Colony. There is a main house and a detached guesthouse. Mitchell sold it to the current owner Stanley Gold. He is the former president and CEO of Roy E. Disney’s private investment company Shamrock Holdings. Gold is also a former Walt Disney Company board member.

Mitchell left behind a stone dining table still available at the property. “It has been enjoyed by the seller, and he would happily sell it with the property,” Iggulden informed Mansion Global. The oceanfront pool and spa would be exceptionally difficult to build under today's current coastal regulations, as per the available information.
