Demi Lovato bought a 8,500 sq ft modern farmhouse in Los Angeles for $7 million. The Studio City home has 6 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms. The property also has a recording studio. She worked with Argyle Design founders Kat Bell and James Drew to design the home. It has a psychedelic interior, unique furniture and art by up-and-coming female and queer artists. The home also has a home theatre, a gym, a salt water pool and a dedicated glam room. The pool house has been converted into a space where Lovato recorded her album Holy Fvck.

Studio City modern farmhouse

The Studio City home was bought for $7 million, a Variety report said. This modern farmhouse is spread in around 8,500 sq ft area. The home has a maximalist theme with lots of colour, texture, furniture and art. The house has a home theatre, a gym, a wellness room, a wet bar, a saltwater pool, a spa, a fire pit, and a wine cellar. The detached guest house has a full bathroom. The mirrored elevator at the home looks like a spaceship.

Inside Demi Lovato’s home

The open plan kitchen has stainless steel appliances, marble worktops and an island with bar seating. The family room has a fireplace. The living room has a fireplace, while the dining room has wine storage. There is also an office.

The owner’s suite has a seating area, a fireplace, a bathroom with glass shower, a freestanding bath and double sinks. The bedroom has a large walk-in wardrobe with built in storage. On the lower level, there is a home cinema, a lounge with a wet bar, a glass wine cellar, a gym and a wellness room.

Shroom room, glam room

The property also has a shroom room. This room has a bespoke modular sofa inspired by the Mah Jong sofa by Hans Hopfer for Roche Bobois. There are also Tongue chairs by Pierre Paulin, silver walls and glimmering curtains.

There is an interactive cloud light by Rania Peet hanging from a mural on the ceiling by artist Jen Stark. The light changes colours. The room has mushroom shaped stools, butt shaped vases and breast shaped salt and pepper shakers.

The mansion also has a glam room. This room has a pink and green theme. It has bespoke wig storage and a salon shampoo bowl. There is also a neon sign on the wall which says "You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile".

Main bedroom, living room and dining room

The main bedroom has Beluga chairs by Atra, a guitar and a silver bronze cheetah sculpture. The living room has a De Sede DS-600 Nonstop sofa around a bonsai inspired coffee table. The room also has zebra onyx crystal lamps and quirky decor. There are some unique pieces in the home like a leather pig.

The dining room has a lavender and aquatic theme. It has Uchiwa wall lamps and an Entler Studio chandelier that looks like tentacles. The kitchen has Gucci Lilies wallpaper, wood features, brass details and earthy tones.

Art pieces at home

The dining room and kitchen also have art pieces. There is a painting by Lilian Martinez of a figure’s legs in the breakfast nook. There is also art by Yasmine Nasser Diaz titled Truth or Dare.

Lovato worked with Eva Seta, Director of Communications at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles to choose the art. The art pieces are works by up-and-coming female and queer artists.

Recording studio

The pool house was converted into a recording studio. The studio has an Upholstered Stitch Stool by Eny Lee Parker and a rug by Cold Picnic. It also has a vintage chandelier from the 1960s from Italy. The studio also has iridescent Murano glass discs. Lovato recorded her album Holy Fvck at the studio. This album was released in 2022.

The backyard has a saltwater pool, a spa, and a fire pit. There is an outdoor dining area and a kitchen with stone accents and barbecue area. The pool house has been placed at the end of the pool and has a full bathroom. Lovato has created a dedicated space for her dogs, Batman and Cinderella.
