George Foreman's estate in Huffman, Texas, where he lived with his wife, Mary Joan Martelly, and their children, has been placed on the market for $6 million. The property is built on 13.49 acre land. It has an 11,968 square foot Mediterranean-style mansion and a climate-controlled garage for more than 50 cars. The single-story home, which was built in 2001, was a family residence and the center of Foreman's business and other endeavors. It also appears in commercials for the George Foreman Grill.

George Foreman's Huffman estate

George Foreman's Huffman estate has been put up for sale at $6 million. The property belonged to the late boxing legend, who died at the age of 76 in March 2025. His family is selling 13.49 of the 28 acres of the land. The house is located in the Commons at Lake Houston community, about 35 miles northeast of Houston. Evan Compean of the Compean Group is representing the property.

The 11,968 square foot Mediterranean-style mansion was built in 2001. Foreman and his wife, Mary Joan Martelly, designed the house, which they bought to provide their growing family with more space and to store his car collection. Another 14.79 acre land, which houses different courts and a fishing pond, can be owned separately.

The house has five bedrooms and 9 bathrooms. It also houses two kitchens, a formal dining room, a library, two offices, a fitness room and multiple living areas. Imported marble, hardwood floors, millwork, columns and three fireplaces are some of the highlights of the home, according to the listing. Foreman's daughter, Leola, got married in the house, and the reception was held in the atrium.

The house is divided into two wings. It provides separate living quarters for the family members. One of the wings was Foreman's living quarters, which included a primary bedroom, an office, a fitness room, and a kitchen. The other wing has another primary bedroom, several more bedrooms, and living areas. The house also featured a game room with a wet bar and a formal dining room with a European-style chandelier.

The fitness room of the mansion has custom stained-glass windows with animal motifs. Glass display cases in the house used to hold memorabilia and trophies from boxing. George Foreman Grill commercials were shot in one of the house's kitchens.

The house was also the center of Foreman's business enterprises. One of the house's kitchens was used to shoot commercials for the George Foreman Grill, an invention that catapulted the boxer to celebrity status beyond the boxing world. The kitchen's island has his initials, "G.F." The grill was one of Foreman's most successful business ventures, and it introduced his brand to people who did not necessarily follow boxing.

In addition to boxing and business, Foreman also pursued a career in TV shows and ministry. Foreman appeared on the NBC reality travel show "Better Late Than Never" with actors William Shatner, Henry Winkler, and Terry Bradshaw. The show was a celebrity-filled adventure, combining travel and good food.

Foreman had been a car enthusiast, and the garage was also used to service the vehicles. According to the listing, the garage could be modified for other uses. The house also has a whole-home generator, a well, and a septic system.

The house had a hair salon and an air-conditioned room for furs, which were designed for Foreman's wife, Mary Joan. There was also an air-conditioned dog kennel and a yard for the family's 16 dogs.

Additional 14.79 acre land up for sale

Another 14.79 acre land can be purchased separately. It houses a tennis court, a basketball court, and a fishing pond. According to the listing, Foreman used to take his grandchildren to fishing in the pond. With this additional 14.79 acres, the whole combined property will become 28 acres in total. However, the price for the additional 14.79 acre parcel has not been disclosed.
