Ariana Grande bought a Hollywood Hills home for $13.7 million in 2020; 18 months later, she sold it for $14 million
Ariana Grande has officially sold her Hollywood Hills mansion after a brief ownership of 18 months. Acquired for $13.7 million and sold for $14 million, Grande made a modest profit. The opulent home boasted breathtaking views, an infinity pool, as...

Apparently she did not hold on to the house for long. She reportedly bought a smaller, more private home in the same neighbourhood, while also owning a historic-style property in Montecito, California, as per a report by Architectural Digest and Fox Business.
Inside Ariana Grande’s Hollywood Hills home
The modern mansion sits on a steep hillside above the Sunset Strip. Its three floors are connected by an open design, with retractable glass walls that let in plenty of light and open several rooms to the outdoors. It was built in 2018.The house has no conventional backyard because of its hillside position. Instead, there is an infinity-edge pool with a deck around it. The views are a feature. You can see Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean from the property.
The kitchen has Miele appliances, a black silk granite island and Italian cabinets finished with brass accents. The cabinetry reaches all the way to the ceiling, drawing attention to the room’s height.
The main bedroom suite is on the third floor. The room is impeccable which includes facilities like a sitting area, a large walk-in closet with custom wood cabinets and a bathroom covered in marble. A deep soaking tub sits beside a floor-to-ceiling window.
There is plenty of space for entertaining, too. The mansion has a wine cellar that can hold more than 300 bottles, a wet bar, a media lounge, a home theater. A gym and sauna round out the facilities.
The house offered a mix of privacy, entertainment space and views. But Grande moved on after a relatively short stay.
Why did Ariana Grande sell the mansion
Grande bought the property in June 2020 for $13.7 million and sold it for $14 million roughly 18 months later. The $300,000 difference is her gain before realtor fees and other expenses.According to the listing, Aaron Kirman of the Aaron Kirman Group at Compass represented Grande. Matt and Josh Altman of Douglas Elliman represented the buyer. The buyer’s identity had not been made public in the reports, and the agents declined to comment. Kirman also declined to discuss the sale.
The Bird Streets neighbourhood is known for its celebrity residents. Its name comes from the streets, many of which have bird-related names. Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Jodie Foster, Keanu Reeves and chef Bobby Flay were among the residents mentioned in reports about the area.
Grande reportedly purchased a smaller and more secluded house in the neighbourhood earlier that year. She was believed to be living there after the sale of the larger mansion.
She also owns a Tudor-style estate in Montecito. Mansion Global reported that Grande bought the roughly 300-year-old timber-frame property through a trust for $6.75 million. The home had previously belonged to Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi.
Known for songs such as “7 Rings” and “Bang Bang,” Grande has also appeared as a coach on The Voice. Selling the Hollywood Hills house marks a quick turnaround on a property she bought for millions less than two years earlier, even if the profit is modest compared with the mansion’s price.
