As per TMZ, the transaction closed on October 7, signifying a reported $8 million difference between the purchase and sale amount before accounting for renovation charges and other expenses.
A $60 Million Sale After Three Years
Levine, the Maroon 5 frontman, and Prinsloo listed their Montecito estate for $65 million before reportedly agreeing to a sale amount of $60 million. Although the final figure was $5 million which is below the original asking price, it featured a major increase over their reported purchase amount.The duo has earlier been involved in celebrity property transactions that involved high-profile names like Ellen DeGeneres, John Mayer, and former couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner.
