Actor Jake Johnson's four-bedroom Pasadena home is up for grabs for $3.3 million

Jake Johnson has put his four-bedroom and four-bathroom home in Pasadena, California, up for sale. The residence was remodeled in 2004. It is located in West California Boulevard. The home boasts of a swimming pool. According to the listing, the home is nearly 3,153 square feet and sits on an 18,823 square foot land, or almost half an acre. Thomas Atamian of Coldwell Banker Realty is handling the sale.

Built in 1947, this home was remodeled by architect Aleks Istanbullu in 2004, according to the listing. The interior elements of the property are hardwood floors, wood accents and picture windows. Sliding glass doors provide access to the backyard from the living areas.


The overall design lends this space a spa-like ambiance. This residence also includes a detached sunroom with sauna. Jake Johnson's residence also includes two detached structures. These outbuildings augment the interior square footage, and can be used in a variety of ways. These structures were previously utilized as or modified to include a creative office/studio space and a wellness space. The structures could potentially be used as a home office or any other purpose. One of the structures is connected to the sunroom and sauna.

How did Jake Johnson rise to fame with 'New Girl'?

Johnson, who is 48 years of age, is recognized as a television and film star. He is perhaps best known for his role as Nick Miller in the comedy series New Girl. This series aired from 2011 until 2018, and had a total of seven seasons. It followed the lives of a group of roommates, including Nick Miller, played by Johnson.

The cast also included Zooey Deschanel, Max Greenfield, Lamorne Morris, Damon Wayans Jr., and Hannah Simone. Johnson earned a Teen Choice Award nomination for his work on the series. Even after its finale, the viewership of the program has sustained itself. In fact, the cast still maintains a connection with one another.

Johnson told in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight that he still has close ties with his former co-stars. "It definitely does not feel like yesterday, but it does feel like it was a long time ago, but I'm still so close to the whole cast," he said.

The actor also spoke about New Girl when he appeared on Entertainment Tonight. Specifically, he had kind words to say about the series' fan base. In fact, when promoting his upcoming Apple TV series Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed, Johnson spoke about the influence which New Girl had on him.

"It's crazy that we've now known each other for 15 years, but what a dream that show was, and the fan base of that show was so fun, and so honestly, being able to do a show like this show is because of that. It's really a blessing," said Johnson.

Could the 'New Girl' cast reunite?

Talk of a possible New Girl reunion has also continued. Max Greenfield, who played Schmidt, said in July that he believed a reunion was in the works and that he had already seen scripts.

“As far as I know, it’s happening,” Greenfield said during an appearance on Today with Jenna & Sheinelle. “I’ve seen scripts, they’re amazing,” he added.

His comments have raised the possibility that viewers could see the cast together again. Most recently, he starred alongside Dakota Fanning and Cory Michael Smith in The Sun Never Sets, written and directed by Joe Swanberg.
