Fashion designing: It is often believed that it takes years of training, experience and creative exploration to design clothes. But some young talents started polishing their skills much earlier, making their interests a chance to present their original works. One of them is Max Alexander. The American fashion designer has already walked the runway, set up an online store, designed outfits for celebrities and earned two world records at just 10 years old.

Max Alexander's Fashion Journey Began at Four

Max's interest in fashion began when he was only four years old.

One of the first things he made was an outfit for his sister, who loved the end result.He learned the basics of sewing from his mother and began formal classes in 2021.


Max’s love for design has continued in tandem with his education.

His creative inspiration came from several places, mainly holidays and trips to the beach. Rather than restricting himself to one style, he experiments with various fabrics, colours and materials to develop his ideas.

Two World Records at a Young Age

Max has received two world-record titles connected to his runway achievements. He became the youngest runway show designer at seven years and 266 days old. Later, at 10 years and six days, he became the youngest runway show designer at Paris Fashion Week.

Max has also presented his designs to larger audiences through fashion events and media appearances. His work has been featured in People magazine, and he has appeared on Good Morning America. He has also created custom outfits for several celebrities.

Presenting a Fashion Collection Takes Teamwork

Although Max is the designer behind his collections, getting ready for a runway show involves considerable coordination. He works with his mother, models, a production manager and other members of the team to bring his ideas to the runway.

Max takes an active role in preparing every presentation. He chooses the models and the dresses they will wear, then determines the order in which the dresses appear during the show.

Building a Fashion Brand

Max operates an online store where he designs and sells different products such as kaftans, charms, pyjamas and puffers. His work went beyond runway collections, allowing customers to explore various items created under his brand.

He has also attracted attention for his commercial projects.
