The third film introduced younger performers. While the new campers take centre stage, the return of Lovato and the Jonas Brothers connects the film to the original franchise. Her executive-producer credit shows a different kind of involvement from her original performance as Mitchie. Alongside the Jonas Brothers, she helps bring the franchise back for a new generation while making a cameo in the film.
