OCTOBER PRIME DAY 2026: DATES AND EXACT DEAL-DROP TIMINGS
According to multiple media reports, Prime Big Deal Days begins at 3:01 AM ET on October 6 (Tuesday) and concludes at 2:59 PM ET on October 8 (Thursday), giving shoppers a full 48 hours to take advantage of the event. But some of the most interesting offers will arrive in waves.
USA TODAY reports that Amazon’s new 'Today’s Big Deals' will drop three times daily at 3 AM, 11 AM and 4 PM ET. Shoppers won’t know every product included ahead of time, adding an element of surprise to each release.
The deal drops are expected to feature brands including Shark, Princess Polly and Soundcore by Anker, covering technology, beauty, fashion, kitchen and home products. Supplies are limited, meaning popular offers could disappear before the next drop arrives, reported the outlet.
Prime Big Deal Days is exclusive to Prime members. A standard Prime membership is priced at $14.99 per month or $139 annually, while eligible new members can sign up for a free 30-day trial.
WHAT JAW-DROPPING DEALS CAN SHOPPERS EXPECT?
Amazon is making holiday and seasonal shopping a major focus of its October Prime Day event. According to USA TODAY, select Halloween products start at $5, while some candy options cost under $10. Amazon is also promoting grocery discounts of up to 75% on select products.
Parents and holiday gift shoppers have plenty to watch. Select Play-Doh and Kinetic Sand sensory toys are discounted by up to 40%, while select Funko, Miniverse and other collectibles also offer savings of up to 40%. Select products from Hasbro Gaming, Mattel Games, Hot Wheels and Barbie are up to 30% off, as are select Lego and Magna-Tiles building sets.
According to NBC Selected, shoppers should also expect strong offers across Amazon-owned technology, including Echo, Fire, Blink and Ring devices, along with home and kitchen appliances, beauty products, groceries and household basics. Lightning Deals will provide additional short-lived discounts on limited quantities.
With fresh discounts appearing throughout both days, shoppers may want to keep their wish lists ready. October Prime Day is no longer simply another sale - it has become an early gateway into America’s holiday shopping season the fall and holiday seasons.
