IAI Smart’s Emerson SmartVoice air fryer uses voice commands to recognise food.

An air fryer can understand and recognise more than 100 food-types and automates cooking through voice commands. It does not need Wi-Fi or a smartphone app. The product was developed by IAI Smart and named Emerson SmartVoice Air Fryer. It is a product that can reportedly handle 1,000 voice commands without requiring an internet connection or an app.

People who use it can choose from six cooking functions or use eight touch presets. According to the company, all voice commands are processed locally, no cloud storage is done, and no tracking or data collection also happens.

How does the technology work?

It has a capacity of 5.3 quarts. The main feature is that the voice control allows users to operate the appliance without relying on a Wi-Fi connection or a separate smartphone app.

The product is designed to recognise more than 100 food types. It can select time and temperature based on the food identified. It reduces the need for users to adjust settings on their own.

It has mainly six functions, which includes air fry, bake, dehydrate, broil, reheat and keep warm.

The product has a 5.3-quart capacity, which makes it suitable for everyday household cooking.
